Laboratory/R&D Intern

We have an immediate need for highly competent and motivated interns to assist in various laboratory functions for a leading stem cell company. 

Suitable candidates for this position should have knowledge of basic laboratory skills and have taken several courses in the biological sciences. Experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques is preferred, but not required. Projects require the ability to read and understand relevant scientific literature and an understanding of fundamental principles, theories and concepts in the area of stem cell research.

Candidate will have a significant amount of responsibility and require a high degree of independence to help ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the laboratory. In addition, he/she will be responsible for making detailed observations, analyzing data, interpreting results and preparing technical reports, summaries and new protocols.

The position is for a part-time unpaid internship. Summer internships are also available. Hours are very flexible. Candidates that show dedication, hard work and competence will be given priority for future paid positions meeting their qualifications.
